Dariusz Kamys

Dariusz Kamys - also known as Kamol - Polish cabaret actor, songwriter, director (improvised series "Spadkobiercy", co-creator of POTEM, HiFi and Hrabi cabarets - with whom he has been collaborating to this day.

On the outskirts of his professional cabaret activity, he enjoys painting. He doesn't count on anything, he treats painting as a hobby, which unexpectedly took on a different dimension during the lockdown, began to become concrete.
Emotions are the theme of the paintings. His characters feel, and if they feel, they live. Although the pictures are full of colors, we feed them with a lot of sadness and melancholy. 
In them, the author expresses the other, less known side of his nature. As an artist "without schools", he is not subject to any styles, he has created his own personal workshop. Being at the beginning of the road, he makes bold painting discoveries, quickly moving towards artistic maturity. It is a spiritual painting, painful in its message. Imprinting a seal on the recipient. 

He enjoys painting and positive opinions, and most of all, the fact that his paintings hang in the homes of his best friends. It has never happened that one of them hastily carried a painting of Dariusz from the attic when he came to visit unannounced. He is proud of the fact that Tomasz Sętowski is the owner of one of the paintings.
