He gained popularity in the world with his equestrian works. He was honored as the Official Artist of the 124th Kentacky Derby in the United States as the second artist in the over 100-year history of the race. In 2012, he carried out in London a unique project "The Painted Chronicle of the Olympics" under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. For almost twenty years, the artist lived in the United States without losing contact with Poland. He had a lot of success there. He collaborates with the National Dance Museum in Saratoga Springs. Since 2002, he has been collaborating with the Grand Theater and the National Opera in Warsaw, which has resulted in major exhibitions. Horses and theater are the artist's favorite themes in the style of poetic expression. The common feature seems to be movement, the artist himself claims that "all images are vibrations".

“Bogusław Lustyk's visions are both expressive and full of sadness, thoughtfulness or tenderness. The artist can also be lyrical and sensual, as aggressive and brutal as subtle and touching. Equally prayerful as it is erotic. This diversity of interpretations within one work, one artistic workshop, is something unique in Polish art. The basis of Bogusłsaw Lustyka's drawings will be transformed many more times and on this canvas more and more different creations will be created.
